Yet the shrewdest will rise above the chaos, managing with meticulous planning, and strategic acumen to overpower their opponents and wrest fortune and control from their opponents' clutches.
In Thessaloniki, players take the role of influential patricians that seek to produce and trade commodities, build trading posts and monuments, fulfill contracts, and meet the demands of other trading hubs of the era. Consisting of a variable number of rounds, players alternate taking turns and building their strategies by moving their workers on a rondel-style board. In each turn you gain commodities, take actions, and trigger an end-of-turn effect where applicable.
